Your workspace

A workspace holds everything for one brand: its captures, compositions, remixes, channels, analytics, and comments. Nothing crosses between workspaces, so running a second brand — or a client — means a second workspace, not a second account.

This guide covers the two things that sit beside the workflow rather than inside it: finding what you have already written, and taking all of it with you.

Switching workspaces

Your workspaces page lists every one you belong to. Opening a workspace makes it the active one, and it stays active until you switch again — every page you visit is showing that workspace and only that workspace.

Finding anything you have written

Capturing everything only pays off if you can get back to it. Press ⌘K (Ctrl+K on Windows) anywhere in Amplifier, or click Search in the top bar, and start typing.

One search covers four kinds of thing at once:

• Captures — title and note.
• Compositions — title, description, and the text inside them, so a phrase you wrote in a paragraph finds the piece it lives in.
• Remixes — the per-format variants.
• Posts — scheduled and published, for "where did this go out?"

You do not have to remember the exact words: searching "scheduling" finds a note about your "schedule", and half a title is enough. Arrow keys move through the results, Enter opens one, Esc closes. Enter with nothing selected opens the full results page, where you can narrow to one kind.

With the box empty the palette lists jump-to shortcuts — new capture, new composition, remix, queue, calendar, Engage, analytics — so it is useful before you have typed anything.

Taking your content with you

Your writing is yours. On the workspace page, Export my content builds a ZIP of everything the workspace holds:

• captures/ and compositions/ — your ideas and your pieces as Markdown, readable in any editor.
• captures.json, compositions.json, remixes.json, posts.json — the same records with their structure intact, for importing elsewhere. posts.json also carries each published post's live URL and its engagement numbers.
• media/ — every image, video, and audio file you uploaded. The Markdown links to them, so a composition still shows its pictures once you unzip it.
• README.txt — what is in the archive, and a note if a very large workspace had to be trimmed.

A big workspace takes a minute to package. The page updates itself when the archive is ready and we email you the link. Download links last 7 days and work only for members of that workspace; build a fresh export whenever you like. Exporting is a copy — nothing in your workspace changes.

Deleting a workspace removes its content and its exports for good. If you might want the writing later, export first.
